Barbacenense leva ouro em Campeonato Europeu de Jiu-Jitsu – Portal BCN
No último domingo (20/02), o atleta barbacenense Cleito Soares de Resende recebeu a medalha de ouro no Campeonato Europeu de Jiu-Jitsu realizado pela IBJJF – confederação internacional da modalidade.
Com participação em três lutas para se consagrar vencedor do campeonato que é realizado há diversos anos, ele é Master 4, categoria de peso pena, até 70kg. “Para mim foi sensacional, uma emoção muito boa a gente vir aqui e ainda sair campeão, conhecer toda essa cultura que eu conheci, todos esses lugares históricos dos grandes gladiadores e ainda sair campeão. Sempre que você vem pra uma competição, por mais que você treina você pensa que não foi o suficiente, que deveria ter treinado mais, e toda a torcida, todos os alunos, os pais dos alunos, os adultos, a gente acaba trazendo uma responsabilidade de ter um bom resultado, mas a emoção foi muito grande”, declarou em entrevista ao Portal BCN.
O lutador também possui diversos outros títulos na faixa preta como o de campeão Mundial, campeão Brasileiro, Sul-Americano, tanto nessa federação quanto em outras.
Cleito Soares comanda a Alliance Barbacena e, segundo ele, seus alunos agora querem sua participação no campeonato mundial, que acontece na Califórnia. “Vou voltar pra casa primeiro, descansar um pouco e depois a gente começa a pensar nesse mundial mais pra frente”, finalizou.
